Requirements

The fee must be paid before the application will be considered as complete, and the fee must be paid for each application submitted.

2. Three Letters of Recommendation

All letters of recommendation must be submitted electronically by the referee. The online application will automatically notify the referee and provide instructions on how to submit their letters.

3. Transcripts

Official, sealed, original (no photocopies) transcripts from all undergraduate/graduate institutions attended should be sent directly to the Graduate Group in Immunology, only after you have marked your online application complete and submitted it. This allows for more efficient and effective matching of transcripts to applicants. Submit only one transcript for each university or college you have attended. In the case of multiple applications, send only one transcript to your first choice of graduate programs.

Please mail transcripts to: UC Davis Graduate Group in Immunology, Vet Med PMI - Rm 5217, Bldg. VM3A, One Shields Avenue, Davis, CA 95616.

5. TOEFL scores

TOEFL or IELTS is required if English is not your first language or the primary language of instruction for your degree. The minimum TOEFL score is 550, or 213 if using the computer-based test. The minimum score for the new TOEFL iBT is 68. The minimum IELTS score is seven on a nine point scale. Submit scores to School Code 4834; Department Code 30.

The deadline for all applications is January 2.

*Because of the high non-resident tuition costs for international graduate students we strongly advise such applicants to seek fellowship support from their home countries. Only exceptional international students without financial support can be accepted into the program. Please contact the Graduate Group (ggi@ucdavis.edu) prior to seeking admissions.
